I think this is one of the most beautiful crosses I have ever seen! Honestly have never seen anything like it…love it!
Isn’t it beautiful?? And because there weren’t churches everywhere, they also carved Khachkars, or prayer stones, with crosses cut into them (look on my facebook page to see a photo of them!) and placed them around the countryside, so they could pray at them. Armenians are very reverent — and I think you can see the joy and hope they take in their faith in the blooming cross!
